Kangaroo Island is situated just off the coast of South Australia. It is accessible by air and by ferry. From Adelaide airport, a 20 minute flight that lands at Kingscote Airport which is 15k from Kingscote. From the airport to Vivonne Bay is 60k and takes 40 minutes. The ferry leaves from Cape Jervis and takes 1 hour to arrive at Penneshaw. Penneshaw to Vivonne Bay is 100k and takes 70 minutes (not a traffic light in sight)
